Just looking for the smallest pixels for a 1080P display. The smallest I've seen is a westinghouse 37". Got my eyes on that bad boy. Any others you guys know of?

I thought the 2407WFP had trouble showing 1080p?

I think the smallest is the Westinghouse.

Also the 2407WFP is 1920x1200, 16x10, the westinghouse is 1920x1080, 16x9, I'd rather have true 1080p with the Westinghouse.

15.4" wide on a laptop is the smallest 1920x1200 display. The smallest PC LCD display at 1920x1200 is a 23" (Sony SDM-P234, Philips 230WP7NS, Apple Cinema 23").

I should have been more clear. I want a native 1080P res LCD monitor. Those are nice and all, just not what I was looking for. I want to be able to wacth Blu Ray DVD's when I get a PS3. Don't want to downscale the pixels from 1900x1200 to 1080P. So the westinghouse is the one?

A 2407WFP has a resolution of 1920x1200. 1080P is 1920x1080. You will have 60 pixel black bars at the top and bottom, pixels are not scaled at all.

It also has HDCP, so you can watch all your protected content.

well if the 24" dell is the cheaper route then you can set it so 1:1 so there is not down scaling of pixels and you will have small black bars on the top and bottom so you only losing 120 pixels 60 on bottom 60 on top should be about .6 inches on top and bottom. so it will turn your 24" into a 23" display.

But i don't think the new dell has HDMI port either so does the PS3 have a DVI connector?

*edit* well just put mine to 1920x1080 and it was actually 23.25" so you lose .75 diag screen space no big deal and this monitor is on sale right now for 680 at dell.

also here are the connections it has i have no ideal if any these are 1080p supported:
Analog / DVI-D / S-Video / Composite / Component Connectors

dvi-hdmi adapters are cheap and there is no loss of pic quality. if you can afford the westinghouse, go for it. little more expensive but much better pic quality is the sony kdl-40xbr2. $1850 on ebay
