Now that a lot of nifty little "flip" style HD video cameras are coming our for quite good prices, is anyone aware of one that accepts a standard "analog" video in for recording from an external camera or device? For my use, I have a weather and shock proof "lipstick" style camera I use for snowboarding/mountainbiking...
In the past I have it hooked up to an old MiniDV camera... I'm looking to upgrade & downsize that old camera with something smaller and without moving parts... It'd also be nice to have a small/portable device that I could hook up to other video sources to record from as well...
Anyone aware of a small solid state video camera capable of this? I'm basically looking to duplicate the VIO POV.1 series helmet camera setup for a better price, since I have already have a decent camera from an earlier generation helmet cam setup...
