Small TV with Digital Tuner?

MotionMan

My 70-something uncle wants to avoid using a converter box with his two small TVs. I really want to avoid it, too, because he is easily confused if there are too many remotes/options. However, he is limited in space and budget.

I have found a few options for small TV with a digital tuner including a Coby 13" CRT, Sanyo 15" LCD and Haler 20" CRT, but there is little online about these items that I could find that would make me comfortable enough to buy one.

Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with small TV with digital tuners for under $300?

The boxes aren't that difficult. Has he ever used a VCR before?

You put the TV on channel 3 and change the channels with the box.

Too complicated.

Really.

Target carries a 19" Magnavox LCD for around $229 or so pretty regularly. It looked pretty sharp in store. Much better than the bottom feeding Coby ones that I've seen advertised as door busters.
