I got a call from my Dad today about buying a laptop for the kitchen (yes, I said WTF?! too)

He wants something with a small footprint to keep on a small desk in the kitchen, mostly for tooling around the internet. Obviously something a bit more cost effective and resonable would be better... I was thinking a shuttle-style system and a 15" LCD

Can anyone recomend a complete system like this? It's for my dad so it needs to be pretty easy (otherwise I'd build him a shuttle myself, but I'm away at school.)

I'd probably hafta add a wifi card to get the highspeed connection, but other than that nothing fancy.

Any suggestions?

Dell Hot Deal on one of their SFFs and a USB 2.0 Wifi, the he can order it direct in his own name and not even have to open the case.

Aside from cubes, MSI has / had a nice line of small "booksize" P4 barebones with onboard video., the reviews were positive.

Or buy.com has a toshiba A15 with 15" screen for $878 after $100 rebate, add a wifi pc card to that. The Toshibas have pretty decent keyboards and are thin (though not really light) so it would be easy to put it away to clear off the table when it isn't in use.
