small sreen in internet explorer

When I go into forums the sreen is small I have to maximize all the time.
How can i stop this. I did it once before but I forgot how I did it.

Did you try resizing IE and shift+close?

I'm not 100% if this works, but give it a shot.

At any rate, do NOT maximize it.. IE will NEVER EVER remember that you like to open new windows at that size. Why tf does this happen? It's been that way since IE 4 like 3 years ago, you'd think they'd do something about it.

What you'll have to do is resize the window manually so it's pretty much maximized. Do the control or shift and close the window, close IE completely, try it again a few times.. IE isn't always the sharpest knife in the drawer and you may have to do it MANY times.

And for anandtech, I just type forums.anandtech.com for that reason you complain of to avoid the hassle.

It did not work. When I open a link it is always minimized. This happend when i did a fresh install of windows 2000. The main web pages open full links small. What a pain!!!!

It worked I had to do it in stages making the page larger in small incriments closing it with shift+close. Until at last it opens full.
