About to build a new 4K editing rig and am looking for a small quiet mini-tower case. Really like the Fractal Designs Define Mini, but it's a bit deep for where I want to put it. Define Mini C is the right size, but I need a slot for disc R/W drive.

Any other suggestions? Thanks!

My current parts list:

i7-8700K
Noctura NH-U12S
MSI -Z370M Gaming Pro M-ATX
Corsair Vengence LPX 32g (2x16) DDR4-2666
Samsung Evo 960 M.2 250GB
EVGA SuperNoca G2 550W
Geforce GTX 1060 or 1070... also depends on room in case

Plus additional drives and burner pulled from my old rig.

Did you already purchase the 8700k and board?

If not, u may want to wait on that 8700k....
incase ur not following up with news on meltdown/spectre.

If your going going to do heavy 4k editting, a Ryzen 7 System maybe better for you after all the fallout clears.

IF your going to do more Heavy Gaming then editting, then ignore this advice, as for gaming i still feel intel will be ahead of AMD.
