Small question about Dual P4s

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to have a dual P4 system? From the information that I've gathered so far, it's impossible to have a dual P4 system, but only a dual Xeon system. I just wanted to get a confirmation on those facts if possible.

Thank you very much

Desktop Pentium 4 processors (both the Willamette and Northwood) are not SMP capable.

You cannot have a dual Pentium 4 system. You must purchase Pentium 4 XEON DP or XEON MP processors. While the XEONs themselves are not all that expensive, the motherboards are where they will really hit your wallet VERY hard.
