I have a few games that for some reason the screensaver will kick in when there is no mouse activity. Most of my games don't do that, but games like Operation Flashpoint the ss will start when I'm flying the chopper with the stick and not using the mouse. Then it messes up the video and I have to restart the game.
What I need is a small program that will disable the screensaver before starting the game, instead of me doing it manually from the Display Properties, which I usually forget to do.
I've seen this feature in lots of other programs, but I don't want to load up third party software with a bunch of other features I don't want. I just want something small, simple, and to the point.
What I'd like is to be able to disable/enable with a hotkey rather than having yet another icon in the system tray. Or even better be able to add a command line switch to the game shortcut which will disable the ss while launching the game all in one click. Then I can enable it again with a hotkey after playing the game.
I tried searching on the net but most were features of larger programs or instructions for developers on how to add the api call to thier programs. If nobody knows of a program like I want perhaps a coder around here can make one?
