Small Printer Problem

Okay I have a printer set up on my Windows XP computer. I've shared it to my other XP computer. The problem is when I try to print from the computer without the printer it doesn't print. In the printer box that shows what is currently printing it says "Deleting-Sent to Printer" and it says it was sent by "Guest". But what's strange is that once I restart the computer that's connected to the printer it prints! I have no idea whats happening. I'm using a Canon C530. It prints fine on the computer with the printer connected to it. I have the latest drivers. I'm using Win XP Pro on both comps. I am also using a ethernet network with a router.

Does anyone know what I can try? I'll greatly appreciate any help.
