Small Pocks Question/Concerns.....

Hey All,

NO, im not chicken little...and NO, the sky is not falling....but i do have a few questions for anyone who might know the answers. first, how do you findout if you have been vacinated for small pocks? and second, is it a one time deal..or do you have to get vacinated every so many years?

I think the US stopped routine smallpox vaccinations in 1972 because the alleged risks from the vaccine were said to outweigh the chance of contracting smallpox. A global campaign was said to have eradicated smallpox by 1978. I don't think you can even get a vaccination now unless there were an outbreak.
