Small PC Parts Supplier

I want to design and build my own XPC. Who is a good supplier of parts? I would need a very small MoBo, etc. Also, is there an adapter for a notebook HDD to regular 40 pin IDE? I have seen somtething like this, but not 100% sure if it was it, or where to get it.

I think I askes the wrong question. What I really need is a small MoBo. I will try again...

There is the notebook adapter out there.. I got mine from a Yahoo store, but I can't seem to find the invoice anywhere to tell you which one.
