Small, packable speakers

I travel a fair amount for work, and I'll often watch a movie or listen to music in my room if I'm bored. Are there any decent full range speakers that don't take up a lot of room? I know there are going to be compromises, but I'd like to get something that sounds better than your usual crap-box speakers that come with most desktops.
 
Hey, Nohr, long time no see. I already have a great set of Shure E4s, but I'd rather not stick them in my ears if I don't have to.
 
I don't have any suggestions but I'll beat everyone to the important question: what's your budget?

I need to reload that... and find my headset. 🙂

I suppose my budget is flexible. I'm not really sure what the price range is for these or what I should expect for sound. I don't see myself spending more than $100 or so.
