I recently OC my E6600 to 3.2 ( 400 * 8 ) and my ram is set to 5-5-5-12 @ 1:1. Instead of turning my system off i put it on standby each night. But today when I go to bring it out of standby, the monitor will not get a signal. So, i turned off the computer and then back on and the same thing still happened. To fix it, i had to hold down Insert to reset the BIOS. My question is what could be casusing the system to not come back from standby? RAM timings? voltages? I really have no idea b/c this is my first OC ever.

I did strees testing for 2.5hr with orthos, and it ran fine, if that helps.

Hi! I would run orthos or Prime 95 for at least 8 hours. Also, your northbridge chipset could be overheating due to the increase in FSB speed. Try 9x333 with 1.35V CPU voltage to see if it boots.

reset the bios so that everything's stock, then if it still doesn't turn on then the problem is not the overclock. if it turns on when you reset everything, it probably is the overclock. in that case, use higher voltages (if it's safe) and/or lower clock speeds/looser timings.

I notice that some boards don't like standby/sleep mode and won't wake up properly. I never used it so I don't know if my board would work or not, but this is not the first case I've heard of.
