Small LCD for bedroom

Alright, I have this old 13" CRT that I have in my bedroom that I like to have on when I am on the computer. It is falling apart and probably won't last too much longer. I want to get something to replace it. I don't need full 1080p or anything like that on this one (when I get around to getting a larger one for the basement, then I will really look into that).

I haven't really looked too much at LCDs and prices vs. quality vs. options because I never had the money for it. I still don't, but once I can get a new job and things settle down, I would like to replace this old CRT.

Now I was thinking something like this or this. 15-22" or so, nothing too big. DVD/Blue-Ray/etc. not required, but would be a nice bonus.

Any opinions or suggestions on manufacturers/models?

I have a personal aversion to all-in-one units - they generally don't do anything very well, and you can't upgrade them very much when you get tired of their limitations.

Was only looking at all-in-one unit due to convenience for bedroom, and I don't even really need the extras. I can watch DVDs on my laptop if I really wanted to. If I was looking for my main unit in the basement, I wouldn't even think about it.

That Samsung TOC 24" that erwos suggested is going to be much nicer than the all-in-ones you posted as it is 1080p, would be great as a future PC monitor and has nice connectivity options. Tossing any HDMI DVD player on it would make a great combo. Also newegg is having a 24 hour sale with a promo code on that TV at the moment knocking the price down to like 440 shipped, assuming you get newegg e-mails.

However if I had to pick from your original 2, Toshiba all the way.

I have the smaller T220HD and would recommend it. Be aware that you cannot mount it, which didn't matter to me. I'm using it in my bedroom, HD channels look great, as does my PS3 games and Blu-Rays.
