Small HDD problem in XP...

I've got a small problem that's quite annoying...

When I'm try to access my HDD (c:\ drive) in the "My Computer" menu, I double-click on the drive and it tells me to go into the control panel to configure system components. It became clear to me that the default "double-click-action" for my C:\ drive is "autoplay." All of my other drives and folders are defaulted at "open" for double clicking.

I know this seems minor, but I can't really express how annoying it is. Everything else is running smoothly...

do you have a file "autorun.inf" in your c:\ directory? that could cause that problem
