Soon, I'lll have about 4 GHz to use. Are there any small RC5-72 groups accepting new members?

Nice! :D

With 4Ghz at your disposal I'd think you'd be a "small group" yourself ;):)

Welcome to Team Anandtech (you are planning on crunching for Anandtech right ;) )

As long as you're in TA, you're in the right group.;)

Choose a project that interests you. As thecool1 said rc5-72 is not the best use of p4s. I think seti and seventeen or bust are good with p4s and I'm sure other projects are also p4 friendly.

As others have stated, SETI and SoB are *very* P4 friendly. Distributed Folding is also P4 friendly. Without knowing, I would guess that the other "folding" projects would use similar algorithms as DF and would also be P4 friendly.

<personal bias>Choose DF or SoB</personal bias>

Most of my machines are Athlons, other than a Celeron 1.1 GHz. So what would be the best thing to run?
