Small green insects?

There are a bunch of these small, green insects in my room lately..They're about the size of a mosquito and seem to be attracted to light (always flying towards my monitor) - anyone have any idea what they could be? Oddly enough, there was a ton of them at my sister's place in PA.. Maybe I transported them to NYC by mistake??

gnats are smaller than mosquitos and black... COULD be a mutated form of gnat..... due to the monitor radiation 😛

Nah, I know what they are.

I get them when I go to a LAN party in the summer. DO NO TOUCH THEM. They smear all over your monitor and it sucks... 😀

thats the only way to kill them tho...turn off the lights, let them migrate to the monitor and smack 'em. seriously. I get bugs every night coming in through my a/c and its become a nightly routine to exterminate them. :frown:

I'll clean my monitor really good in september. 🙂
