Hey guys,

It's been about 4 years since I built my last computer, so I'm a little out of the loop. For christmas I will be asking for parts to build a new computer from various family members. Here is the configuration I've come up with.

WD 500gb SATA

Radeon X850xt (Already have)

Text- Shuttle SD30G2B Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel Core 2 Duo / Pentium D / Pentium 4 Intel 945GC Barebone - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/product/...p?item=N82E16827106072 LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model LH-20A1L-06 - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/product/...82E16820134384Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KVR667D2K2/2GR - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/product/...p?item=N82E16819115031 Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 Allendale 2.2GHz LGA 775 65W Processor Model BX80557E4500 - Retail

I don't game often at all, so I don't need an extremely powerful rig, however, this being said, I am very concerned about 250w power supply in the Shuttle and its ability to power this system with the X850xt. Do you guys foresee any issue?

Thanks in advance!

You need to reorgenize yourself if you want help.

You up there is 4 links two leads to the same thing (CPU).

A LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD is a matter of preference , not much to critique.

Your fourth links is a general one to all Kingston memory products.

Case, Mobo, Price Expectation, etc. No weher to be found. ???

On the gaming side of things you may be stretching it with that psu. I'd get a bigger psu if you can.

The PSU is fine. Shuttle has very, very high efficiency PSUs. And it's only an X850XT, anyways. I used to run a 6800GT off a 230W PSU.

You won't have any problems with the SD30G2's PSU. If you do though or you just want more power, you can upgrade the PSU. Shuttle sells a more powerful PSU for the G2/G5 series.
