It might not seem like much, and it really isn't, but I recently gave a seller a neutral due to no communication and how it took me 10 days to receive an item. No negative since the item itself was fine, which is all that really matters. Now, I bought the item using BIN and then immediately paid via PP and yet he gave me a neutral. For a seller, you can't really expect much more than immediate payment, so I'm pissed off that he'd give me a neutral just because he got one.

Is there any way I can challenge this? It also would round me off at a nice and even 35-0 record :p

No there is not. You can both "mutually agree to withdraw feedback".

I'd leave a comment "BUYER BEWARE, SELLER LEAVES RETALIATORY FEEDBACK"

10 days is not excessive. An east to west coast ground delivery will take 7 business days at times.

Give the guy a week just to get the package out as well.

Did you send him an email asking about it first or just assumed he'd email you about shipping it?

Many don't correspond unless they have too. They have auto-emailers to pay now and ship on receipt of the paypal email on their next shipping day.

He doesn't have to leave you a postitive at all. If you neutralled me on a 10 day delivery I would have done the same. At 35-0 you have a long way to go and learn.

meh, it depends.

A- As a seller, if a buyer neutral'ed me without trying to contact me or resolve differences first, fuck that, I'd neg his ass
B- As a buyer, if a seller doesn't contact me at all and it takes 10 days, I'd probably neutral too. But I have the feedback to absorb such shit =P

That's crap. A week to ship? All I do is sell on e-Bay, I never buy. I always ship within 2 business days of the auction ending, and I think it's unacceptable to put it off any longer than that.

Dude you are selling nickle and dime...the people that powersell in quantity aren't going to be running their ass to the post office/ship location everyday to get your happy ass your cell phone screen protector asap.

Still MANY sellers only ship one day a week. They usually have their auctions end right before that. You delay payment more than instantly and then you have an extra week to wait.

As a seller I have had more an issue getting my money quickly vs them complaining about waiting a few days to ship.

The worst though are the ones that take a week to pay and then expect you to ship that same day.

I am 191-0-1 since 1998 with 203 actual positive and probably 600+ in auctions.
