i loved my pentax s4...great little camera. image quality probably not as good as the canons though, but it did have a 3x optical zoom, and was tiny.
 
I got the T1 for xmas, but was highly dissapointed after using a canon for the last 3 years. Took that POS back and got a SD300. This thing is sweet. I would HIGHLY recommend it. For size and pic quality it just cant be beat.
