wondering why?

I was tailing a long time fav. car, John DeLoren's Classic. Sure his life was pretty much ruined by one scandal over another, but the testimony of this genius and his labour of love was on the road today.

I have had this dream of rebuilding the Deloren for personal use, with updated electronics and engine to make it my personal everyday car.(I wouldnt mind the Mercedes 300 Sport series - the one with gull wings but they are rare)

Anyone know someone with a deloren.. looking to sell. I know I am going to have to sell a kidney to pay for it. Oh well its worth it.

actually, tgg, delorean's are not that terribly expensive in the used car area. i recall seeing on in a paper or something for around 10k, which isn't very cheap, but not exactly a huge amount either.

Deloreans were basically made to be "the working mans exotic car." They dont need much to be daily drivers, they just have a basic GM off the shelf motor, actually a ton of the parts are GM off the shelf items. Find a used one and snatch it up. They really look good painted, that or else stock up on Windex :D
