Could someone help out with this scenario.
I have a z97 extreme6 and xp941 and soon be purchasing a sm951.
The Unknown is Will the Z97 Extreme6 Recognise Two SM951's or Combination of XP941 and SM951 in Raid.
Because One SM951 can reach a speed of 2.2kb/s , would two of them in raid 0 stripe mean one could get 4.4kb/s

Of course it will. Why you'd want to do it is a different matter, since one of them will be limited to a PCIe x2 connection. Halving the bandwidth, and putting more strain on the DMI link to the PCH.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Either drive should be capable of much more then 4.4KB/s... :D

RAID'ing SSDs are a bad idea. Both from a reliability and performance standpoint. You're much better of buying a single large capacity SSDs, since performance scales with how many physical NAND dies/packages are present. Large capacity drives simply perform better then smaller capacity drives.

SM951 can't not be used with RAID as the 2 sockets are A different speeds and B no board can do it yet.
