sm56 motorola on my k7s5a motherboard problem

when i connect online i will get random reboots yet the frustrating thing some nights it will do that every 20 min or so and other nights it will not happen at all last night i removed every bit of hardware bar the essentials (graphics card/hardrive/modem/processor/memory)yet the rebooting was worse than ever some times before the reboot i will get a blue screen error anyone else had this problem?

ps it ONLY happens when i am online

oh another thing that happens is when online my keyboard goes screwy for example it only types in capitals regardless if caps lock is pressed it will also act like other buttons are held down (i was on mirc and when i clicked on a window it would remove them )

i use windows 98 not second edition

Tried the latest drivers for the modem? Motorala isn't making modems any more, the last drivers produced were the version 84.41's.

Make sure that the IRQ's aren't sharing, and make sure that PCI Delay Transaction is Enabled in the BIOS.

I would highly recommend upgrading to windows xp home or pro or windows 2k. I hate stupid blue screen errors!
