SM3 card comparable to x850pro?

So Bioshock looks great, and wouldn't ya know it, it's SM3 only. I was wondering what cards were comparable in speed to my agp x850pro, or maybe a bit faster. Nvidia or ATI, it doesn't matter. I just want the best price/performance ratio for now.
 


If PCI-e: GeForce 6800GT or better / X1650pro or better
If AGP: GeForce 6800GT or better / X1650pro. or better
 
Sweet, thanks. Now as far as bang for the buck is concerned, is there anything recommended? The 7800GS looks like it would be a decent step up but I don't know if it'd be worth the money. I can play Oblivion @ 1280x1024 on almost max already, turn down the shadows and AA a bit but it's pretty good.
 
I'm not sure my PSU is up to the x1950pro challenge TBH. I have an Antec 500W PSU w/ 17A on 12v1 and 19A on 12v2. I've heard different things about this so I'm not sure.
 
That PSU is easily good enough for the X1950XT, let alone the Pro. Don't get the Pro btw, the XT is not much more $$, but considerably more powerful.
 
I don't think they have an xt in AGP 🙁

EDIT: ok, newegg has one x1950xt in AGP, but it's almost $70 more than the pro. I don't think I can even afford the pro, so the xt is kind of way out there for me right now.
 
Is a 7800GS a decent step up from my x850pro? I've been told different things. It's relatively cheap though so it may be worth it yes?
