I ran vista x64 for the longest time, and my comp seemed really fast, but lately it has been sluggish. Now I believe all of this happened after upgrading to Windows 7, but I can't really pinpoint the time.
Basically, scrolling up and down on webpages that have fully loaded, the PC seems to lag. It seems to load up slowly after an inital reboot. And World of Warcraft loads in real slow, a lot slower than my wife's computer that has lower specs. I built both systems.
What I would like to know is: Is there a program like memtest86 that I can run from a bootable disc to check my cpu to see if it has errors, or is damaged? Also to check my video card?
I work on comps etc for a living, and we use PCdoctor at work, my thoughts on it are not fully decided, but I am just wondering if any old pro around here knows of a free program I can use at home.
Thanks.
Here is my system specs:
