Hi All,

I just installed my new MSI NEO Platinum SLi today and am noticing either a sluggish computer, sluggish video, or both. It appears most noticibly in screen redraws and things of that nature. Since everyone else seems to love this board I assume I must be doing something wrong. I'm not at my computer to give you the specs (which I'll post later) but I thought someone might point me in the right direction and give me some settings to change or thread to read. Thanks

Just remembered this, I'm also seeing little purple lines on occasion (in situations like when I click on My Computer and it does that thing where the flashlight looks for the drives). I am using a new Radeon X700Pro with 2 Gigs of ram if that's any help.

Make sure the SLi chip isn't set to SLi mode since you're only using one video card.

Thanks for your reply. As far as I know the default with the chip is set to "off" or single video card and I didn't touch it but I'll check. Also, it seems rather slow to boot up everything--unlike my previous Asus board. Thanks

I have an SLI board with an ATI card...

Anyways, have you tried downloading the latest drivers for your motherboard and for your video card? Install the latest motherboard drivers for your board. Uninstall the video drivers. Then restart into safemode. Use Driver Cleaner from driverheaven.net to clean out the old video drivers you were using in safemode. Restart into Windows then install the latest video drivers.
