I also have a lot of downtime and post here during it during the day.

Unlike many that frequent 10+ forums, I only am active here during the day.

Oh, BTW: you are set to double my posts if you survive here the same amount of time.

😀

I'm sure it's daytime somewhere.

I guess I consider myself a car fan and have never heard of an SLS AMG, but I'm not familiar with exotics or even luxury in general as they are about as relevant as being familiar with $10M art. Interesting a bit but relaying no information of any use to me ever. I'm more likely to read an article about a Scion iQ than a 6-figure sports car I'll never own. Believe it or not there are many people who can rattle off stats and comparisons about exotics but if they opened an engine bay they'd have a hard time even identifying the alternator or telling you how to change the oil.

I'm not going to clean this, but if ALL OF YOU don't knock it off, the garage will become a very boding place filled with locked threads. Stop being juvenile.

This is very true. It's like how most professional drivers really don't know mechanics. They don't need to, are probably not interested in them, and more than likely have more important things to spend their time on.

I was football/wrestling and martial arts throughout high school, I never cared to watch them on TV to this day. At a bar or live event for something like a prize fight or the super bowl is fun, but most lineups are heavily outmatched and just slaughters.

I have found the guys that can spit out every car stat are the ones most likely to have no real clues on how to work on their cars. They tend to be the crowd that insist MAC or Snap On is the only tool line for shadetree mechanics as well.

Anyway to others, thought the SLS was a nice looking car.
