The 467 looks nice, but I like the 4 Million Dollar Home because it is smaller. I think I actually need something that can hold just my camera without looking like a tourist 🙂

I went down the same path....thinking I wanted the smallest bag possible, so I got the LowePro Slingshot 100. It can barely fit the following:
XTi with Grip attached
Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 mounted on camera
430ex flash
EF 70-300 IS USM
batteries, filters, memory cards, cleaning kit in the exterior pockets

You might want to get something a little bigger so you don't have to get a larger bag as you acquire more equipment. The lack of a tripod carrier is annoying as well.

The Manfrotto 790b is the very low end of the monopod line, it only supports 1 kg (2.2 lbs). It retails for about $30....or for $20 more you can get the 679B which supports 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs).

really? that's pathetic. I mean, the pole won't just snap in half if I have 3 lbs on it right?

dmw16 - You asked for a bag that can hold a camera and notebook. Now you want a 4 million? You cannot fit jack in that. Don't be fooled. You need the 5M minimum.

Not fooled. If you read thru the thread you'll notice I sorta decided I just wanted to carry the camera and get a separate bag for my laptop.
