Alright the internet works blazing fast 4.4 mbps then a few hours later it starts slowing down really bad or stops completely then i unplug the modem cords and reconnect them and it works blazingly fast again. I have 3 comps hooked up to hub with road runner cable. Im wondering what could be causing this, is it road runner or is the hub going bad we have had it for about 5 years?

I assume that you have few external IPs and your system otherwise works OK.
Disconnect the Hub and connect one computer directly to the Modem.
Optimize the TCP/IP stack ( Optimizing & Measuring the "Speed" of Internet Connection. ) and try using the Internet for few hours, if you experience the same call RR, it might be the Modem or the quality of the connection.
