Question Slower upload speed at closer distances

I bought the TPLINK Wifi 6 Archer AX3000 router to go with my existing TP Link range extender re650 and have been experiencing slower upload speeds (140/20) with 2 current devices at closer distances than further away (140/80+). Can someone please explain to me what is going on?
 
i would download a app on my phone which can scan wifi signal strength.
And i would see how many wifi signals are being spam'd in that location.

It could be that you have a lot of other wifi devices on the same channel being more strong at that location.
