Slow Zone Alarm Startup

I am running Windows 2000 Pro. I am running Zone Alarm Pro.
ZoneAlarm Pro version:7.0.470.000
TrueVector version:7.0.470.000
Driver version:7.0.470.000
Anti-spyware engine version:5.0.189.0
Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200804.3705

It runs from Hklm_Run and is slow. I run WinPatrol and have items in the Delayed option that start before it finally shows up.
My machine is a Pentium III 700mhz which is not fast but is for other Startup pgms.
What can I set to speed this up?
I really haven't found any settings on the main panel.
I also run Firefox, Avira, Threatfire. Java, Winpatrol Plus, a Kodak program, and the normal applications.
