Slow streaming video over network

I have a 10mb linksys hub (it was cheap), 3 computers attached to it. One computer has win 2k server and the other 2 are proffesional with 10/100mb network cards. When I try to stream video from a website it is very choppy and slow on the proffesional machines. Is this because the hub is broadcasting?

btw, I have a cable connection.

Thanks

Bottleneck is probably NOT the hub (your cable modem is a much bigger potential bottleneck long before the stream hits your machines).
If the cable connection is being shared using something like ICS on the W2K Server box, that could be a problem, especially if the Server machine is low on RAM.

A dedicated SOHO router might help with that.
For an exact answer, we need more info about your setup.
