Slow shutdown

I recently got a new main board, HDD, video card and memory. The technician that sold ithe components to me did the installation and intalled Windows XP Home as part of the deal. Everything appears to be fine except I have a very slow shutdown. My understanding is that one possible cause of slow shutdown is the pagefile. since I am the only person using this PC I wanted to disable the "ClearPageFileAt Shutdown" option.
I look in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\. The ClearPageFileAtShutdown should be here, but I don't find it. If I am on the right track in helping tp solve my slow shutdown, can someone tell this dummy where this option is located?

I have a Western digital SATA II HDD with 200 GB free available. I have 9@) I have an Intel Core2Duo E6600, and two 512MB PC2-4200 CL4 240 RAM. Could I have deleted my ClearPageFile while running my jv16 PowerTools registry cleaner?

How reliable is that Registry Cleaner? Since that function is in the registry, it could well have been the culprit.

Well jv16 PowerTools is highly regarded however I am limited in my knowledge in the best way to use it. I just went back and restored to the day that I believe the problem started. I now notice in my Memory management several PageFile related entries that were not there before. One of them being ClearPageFileAtShutdown. Evidently this file had been removed by registry cleaner. The value is set at 0 so i assume that this was not my problem in slow shutdown. Still welcome any suggestions.
