Great, now I want an OLED tv
If you only watch movies and TV, then yes, get one! Bar none, the best display money can buy. However, if you game a lot then you'll probably want to swing over to AVSForum, they have a dedicated thread to permanent burn-in (not just IR) with photos. Many people are lucky and don't experience it at all, but it happens frequently enough to scare some folks off. You get ZERO warranty support for burn-in. Not even Costco's warranty will replace it for you... and that's saying something. Caveat Emptor. Rtings.com is doing some extensive/exhaustive burn-in testing using several OLEDs at once across multiple types of content, so keep an eye on that, too.
I just recently bought a 65" Sony X930E in lieu of a 65" C7 and I'm really happy with my decision. The only downside is that I don't get perfect black... but on the plus side, I still get a great picture and don't have to worry at all about image retention or burn-in.
