Anytime I log into Hotmail, the IE window would freeze up for around 10 seconds, and then only after that time can I use my email. Only the IE window with Hotmail will do this, while all the other IE windows are functioning perfectly. I have not yet to experience this on any other site. Any help would be appreciated

I don't use my Hotmail very much . . . but I have observed that more and more people are. As that happens, it can get clogged up as queuing takes place. Have you noticed it as being moreso at specific times? I find everything on the Internet starts to slow down during the noon hour and when school is let out in the afternoon. Sort of like rush hour on the freeways. :)

Hotmail is "free" and sometimes that equates to slow because of loading all the ads and pop-ups.

oh no this is not a connectivity problem...it's a browser/hotmail website issue just on this specific computer. I used Hotmail on my other desktop and laptop and it worked just fine at anytime.

How do I reinstall IE 6 so maybe i can solve this problem?

I was talking about Internet Explorer (IE) and not Outlook Express (OE)....I only have this problem on this specific computer i'm using.

No it's not a slow computer by current standards (or at least i don't think :) ) Athlon XP 1800+, Soyo Dragon+, 512MB DDR, IBM 40GXP, GF2 Pro, audigy, etc...
