Slow ghosting on new machine

I have the exciting job of ghosting roughly 300 new Dell Optiplex 320's, although instead of taking the normal 10-15 minutes any other system takes these take at least 40-45 minutes to image. I have around 6 different models of Dell's, every system prior to this have imaged without any issues.

In order to help try to troubleshoot my problem I have recreated the image that I'm using numerous times (added note: the image size is the same for all computers), I have tried different boot disks with different drivers, flashed the bios, disabled the internal network card and slapped in a few different network cards to test, replaced the cheap Netgear switch with a Cisco switch and nothing seems to help. Yet I can take any other system I have and it Ghosts in the normal amount of time.

I'm thinking it might be a chipset/bus/sata issue.. any ideas?

Thanks!

I had this problem before.. what version ghost r u using ? network ghosting ?

Is DMA set correctly for your IDE devices? Is your backup going to A USB HD? Are your USB ports USB2 ready?

they are sata drives, and not using any usb drives. Pulling the image across local network to the machines.

As far as the version of Ghost I can't recall, will find out and update post.
