Slow Gaming with Vista Beta 2

Hey guys, I know Vista is in Beta and that not everything is working right.

I'm just curious if anyone has tried to do any gaming on with Vista Beta 2. If you have, did you get a very noticeable difference in performance? I only have Counter-Strike Source installed, but if performance is going to be just like this with all other games, I won't even bother installing them. I have a 7800GTX and on the XP install, Counter-Strike Source averages high above 80FPS easily woioth high settings on everything. I just did the Stress test on the Vista install and with the same Graphics setup, I'm getting 27FPS.

I'm just wondering what everyone elses experience is in terms of gaming on Vista. Any input on this would be great.

I've only tried Doom 3.

Since Vista uses much more RAM than XP, it stutters a bit here and there. Other than that, performance is pretty much identical to XP.

i reinstalled Steam along with Counter Strike Source, and that seemed to have solved the problem

Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter defintately will not run well at all. I've tried reinstalling and running in XP Compatability modes, and it just will not run smooth. It stutters like crazy. If anyone has any ideas on how to make it run better, please let me know. Thanks for the inputs guys
