Slow FTP speed with router

I have a router between my PC and XBox and my FTP speeds are painfully slow (50 - 100 KB/s). My XBox reports the connection speed to my router as 100 Mbps. My PC reports its connection to the router as 100 Mbps. If I connect my XBox directly to my PC with a crossover cable I get fast speeds (7-10 MB/sec). So what could be the issue here? Any setting I need to check in my router?
 
So my XBox can access the internet without my PC being on. Otherwise, if I connect it directly to my PC, my PC must be on in order for my XBox to access the internet via internet connection sharing.
