slow firefox 2.0.0.6 start up

mine takes around 10 sec to load up. is this suppose to be normal?

what kind of extensions do you have?

for example, i had a weather extension installed.. whenever it couldn't contact the server to get the weather info, it would wait until it times out thus firefox takes forever to load up...

firefox is slow to start

Firefox starts up as fast as any other application for me. Even faster than IE, despite it being tied into the shell.

Opera sucks because it disables the media buttons on the front of my Dell...other than that...its great.
