Thats right you can break faster at 100MPH when you can't brake fast enough for something that gets in your way.
I just want to know where speed limits exceed even 70MPH on open interstate, much less crowded freeways around large cities like LA or Atlanta. Even I-285 and the interstates are set to 55MPH. I have driven in both places and am amazed at how dumb speeders can be. I D 10 Ts flying by at 80+ with one hand through the sun roof holding a cigarette and the other hand full of cell phone and yaking on the damed thing.

A good chunk of the state of Arizona, and much of California IIRC. I seem to recall other areas around the country as well. As I mentioned, near my house the speed limit is 75, and if you're doing less than 85 the cops will fly by you. My average is 85, but when idiots try to block me, I'll easily jump to 110 to get around.
It's funny as hell getting stuck behind someone who intentionally boxes you in, then they try to speed up to get to the next batch of cars and before they know what hit them I'm 1/4 mi in front of them. Good thing most of you wannabe cops drive crappy cars so it's easy for us good drivers to blow by you on the right.![]()
Atlanta's traffic is not a fair comparison to ANYWHERE. The roads their are designed in a completely asinine way. Hell, you actually have a decent mass transit system and only a small handful of people use it.
In Birmingham if you drive under 80 you will get ran over. Speed limit is 60 right near the city and 70 once you get near the burbs.
