Slow Download Speed

My DSL provider made tests and all, and says that the speeds are fine and everything is working properly.

I've ran a few Speed Tests myself, and they all say that the connection runs fine.

Though, I cant download over 50k/s which is WAYYY too slow. The issue could only be from the computer. I only had this connection for a week, the previous one was working good.

I use the P4P800 integrated ethernet card (3COM Gigabit something) since it worked fine with previous connection, and this is a 100Mbits connection.

What could I do to fix this speed issue?

What sites (and what files) are you trying to download from? You could have a full dedicated OC3 in your house and still only get 5kpbs if the source isn't capable of sending the files to you any faster than that...

Edit: Also, what is your DSL connection rated at: 256kbps up/down, 640down/256up, 1.5mbit up/down, etc.?

Im rated 380 down/405 up.

Anyone knows of a fast place where I could test? I DL at 50 where I used to DL at 120 with my previous connection, and it was CAPPED at 120, so I should DL faster than that.

380 kbits is 47.5 kbytes.
if you are downloading at 50KB/sec, then you are in fact downloading at FASTER then 380kbit per second.

Who is your ISP, I'm calling to tell them you are uncapping you service... 😉

Also your ethernet connection may be connected to a 100Mbit port, but the external pipe is most likely 10Mb. Along with the ISP only allowing a fraction of that bandwidth goes towards your connection.
