Once again the Dems don't want to play by the rules.

Even though the deadline has passed the Dems are going to go cry to a judge that they should be allowed to replace Toricelli. Maybe they should have been proactive and not try to ride his problems out. First Gore takes it to court and loses, then Reno threatens but then decides better and now the Dem Party in Jersey is going to go to court and again will probably lose. Will you Dems never learn...the courts can't fix all of your problems.

For the benefit of AphexII I will no longer refer to Democrats as Dems. Instead, I will refer to them as Libs :p

(and yes I know a liberal is different than a democrat, I was just injecting some humor)

Now how is Torricelli's issue caused by the Republicans??? It was his problems that got him into his mess and the Democrats lack of initiative that is now the problem. I don't see where the Republicans factored into this at all, well except maybe retaking control of the Senate now that they will pick up at least one seat, if not more.

You act as if either party isn't run by a bunch of shysters. This year the Ratpublikans get the upper hand, next time it might be the Demoncrats. It really doesn't matter except for as pissing contest here.

Ok, so I was driving around in a Bentley last night, pulled into my driveway and went to sleep. When I woke up this mornig, I ran to the window. Unfortunately I only saw my Camry and their was no Bentley in sight. It must've been a dream. However, I'm sure I can sue someone because its missing...

Like anyone else, members of a political party or it's leadership has the right to petition a court on just about any issue. It is up to the judge to decide if the case has merit, and what if any, steps should be taken to address the issue. Applies to elephants and donkeys.

Dont you hate it when someone tries to be reasonable? Really throws a wet blanket on things. :)

By the same token, when the judge rules, the case is over and dassit. Gore lost, there was no cheated election or whatever.

How can you debate a judges decision? He made the decision and we know what the ruling was! You can debate WHY he made the decision, but if you were the one who went to court, you are agreeing beforehand to abide by his ruling.

There is always room for debate on OT:)
One can always be critical of judges as well as Congress. Nevertheless, Florida is not one of my trigger points. Bush is in for four. BTW I voted for him. I have a friend here who does not agree with my opinion, but then he nor anyone else is obliged to.

It's important to keep in mind that Republicans are perfect. That's why they can throw stones, their bible gives them permission.

I appreciate your POV, although I find it laughable. In any debate, each side thinks they are more correct than the other. Thats why it's a debate. I'm guessing (well, not really guessing....) that you lean to the left and support the democrats, which is why you feel the way you do. I, on the other hand, lean towards and support the other side, and I think much the same 'bout you guys (w/o the Bible part of course).

Explain to me what exactly the difference is between what you said and infered about Republicans and someone making the statement that "Muslims are terrorists because of what is written in the Koran"?
