slow Cd Burning

I searched, but couldn't find anything.

I am having some slower than expected cd burnings. I am using a liteon 32x, with 32x imation brand media, not sure of exact manufacturer. My burns are around 6 minutes for a full cd. Are there any settings within Nero that i can adjust? or is there something wrong with my setup? any suggestions?

Have you tried using the newest patch for Nero? Maybe you can disable SmartBURN. Hope this helps.
 
I have tried with and without "smart burn" I believe i have a curent version, but i will check, but it is fairly current if anything, and should be able to burn speedier, i feel.
