Slow Browsing!!

My dad's computer runs windows me, and lately, some of his websites that he reads, including the bellsouth homepage, are VERY slow. I tried loading Opera and Firebird, but they were slow as well.

Then I deleted the cookies. This sped the browsing up to normal, but about 24 hours later, it went back to slow again. Are there any easy solutions without daily searching the cookies and manually deleting (I can't delete them all because some are required for him to log on to certain websites).

You can tell browsers not to accept cookies (and at least Firebird can limit cookies to a whitelist). You might also want to check for spyware.

Just dl adaware from Download.com and run it. Im guessing you'll find a whole bunch of stuff, just select all the objects then click remove. That should get rid of a bunch of cr@p.

Then, dl the Google toolbar or something related to block popups.
