I recently replaced my girlfriends crashed hd with a new one.
her computer has
p4 1.8
1gig ram
80gig harddrive
integrated intel video
and winxpsp2
and for some reason it runs incrediblyl slowly. All the drivers are updated and it previously (before harddrive crash) ran "well". now it stutters whenever anyone tries to do anything. if she wants to listen to music she can only run itunes, and if she wants to go on aim she can't do anything else. opening firefox takes 10 minutes. i ran virus/spyware check and she's clean...
the only thing i can think it could be is that windows is installed on D, the second partition, rather than C.
any ideas?
