slow 10.5

Basically my 1.66ghz imac is getting on my nerves too...2GB of ram yet even the simplistic website will ruin everything....for the most part it seems to be isolated to web browsers (both safari and firefox are unbearable)

anyone else experiencing this?

flash is actually the worst performing part of all of this. I've read that it is not optimized for OS X at all, but it has actually gotten worse.

i just hate how safari uses SO much memory...its ridiculous. ive officially gone to camino and havent looked back. i even installed a beta version of pithhelmet, but even that didnt convert me back. i get the same problem here.

looks like it is quite common.

What is really odd is the varying performance (cover flow works well in even the largest of folder and firefox/mozilla/finder choke when scrolling)

I really hope it is only an intel driver issue and gets resolved [REAL ] soon

After the latest update I'm getting some really annoying lag at bootup...even with 512MB more memory than before.

I am actually running almost all my main apps and it is working finenow...can't believe it took a reinstall to ix it though...
