questions 1)
everywhere i go, i see generic fcpga-slot1 slotkets, what happned to name brands like gigabyte, abit, msi? trying to search for them on google was futile -- i got a whole bunch of reviews but no online shops. and natacomputers, which every review seems to be buying from, gives me a 404 :(

so where do u guys get ur slotkets from?

question 2)
i'm at a dilemma between the celeron900 and celeron1000 (no tualatins for me!) ... what speeds can i expect a retail box (i presume they r "better" than oem) celeron 900 and 1000 oc to? the price diff is like $10, which i think is reasonable enough. i'm not an extreme oc'er but which is a better oc candidate?

i'm thinking it might be easier to fsb133 (this should be a convenient target that makes the agp, etc mhz settings a breeze) a c900 than a c1000, but whats the consensus here between the 2 cpu's?

thanks guys!

Name brand slotkets aren't being made any more, seems the demand has fallen off. I have an Asus adjustable vcore, bought off ebay 7-8 months ago. Couldn't find a retail outlet them, either.

I've had 5 coppermine cerlerons, one 800mhz that is running 143 fsb day and night without much vcore bump. Also three c1000's, only one would reach 133 fsb stable, and a c900 that would run 124 fsb. It's hit or miss in my experience with any over 800mhz. Others report differently, though.

As stated above, no more slotkits being made by the name brand mb companies. The best place to find them is here or ebay etc. Keep trying smaller stores as they may have old stock. Name brand slotkits are worth it over the generics. I've had asus, abit and msi and they all did well.

I would suggest you try the 900 for a crack at 1200. I had an oem one that did that without any complaint. I dont think theres much difference between the retail or oem other than the heatsink. If you get a 1000 that wont go to 1333, youre stuck.
