SlotA mobo modding

dunno if this would be better in another forum, but anyway:

All slotA mobos are 100 FSB. but, some of them (k7v) do 133 just fine, except you're stuck with a PCI of 44. I looked at the pins on the PLL and was wondering if there was some way to get 133/33 out of it by modding resistors near it or something.

Or is the poorly documented/translated Turbo.PLL mod required?

your K7V must be on steroids because mine doesn't boot over 105 FSB, and I've never heard of any doing even close to 133.

sorry, need to clarify. I can't boot over 112 normally. but if you set the dipswitches to 1101 (1100 is 100/33) it should boot just fine (assuming pc133 ram and a cpu that either OCs well, or has its multiplier lowered). mine doesn't work on X.5 multipliers, so i just used X.0 (5 or 6)

this is all the settings. only a few will boot for me, and only 2 are stable (100/33 and 133/44)

edit: double post, so i added the link 😉
