Slot vs. Socket + Slotket

I'm in the process of building a dual processor Pentium III on an old Tyan Tiger 100. I had planned to use Slotkets and FCPGA processors, as the best dual successes I found on Overclockers.com used this combo, but the post here on abit vs. msi slotkets kind of spooked me. If the slotket can be a limitation on the overclockability of a setup, should I just go with Slotted processors?
Also, any tips on favorite slotkets besides MSI would be appreciated.
