Hello and Happy New Year. For all you engineers, guru techies etc., I bow to you as I'm just a sniveling Buyer who needs a low cost slot loading CD and DVD player which needs to play, not burn discs and I have good Asian sources once I secure a part number.

I need to buy thousands of these and really appreciate the help. What questions do I need to answer to secure a $40 solution in volume? Anyone? Please?
